I have always been overweight as far back as I can remember, despite being very active during my childhood and high school years. During my adult years, I continued to gain weight through a lifestyle of inactivity and choosing to consume calorie-ridden, non-nutritious foods. I gradually learned to accept my weight, and mentally handicapped myself with the belief that "I would never be thin", after the too-many-hands-to-count-on New Years' Resolutions that were never reached. I never considered myself morbidly obese, although I was at my heaviest weight of 324 pounds in August 2014. I had tried Bally's, LA Fitness, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem and LA Weight Loss in the past and vowed never to pay for weight loss methods again! I even considered bariatric surgery but knew that I could never go through with it since I was so familiar with seeing the complications from surgery in my practice. I knew I needed to do something quick, fast and in a hurry for my future and my children's future. I didn't want to experience poor health or settle for living on Diabetes Road, Heart Disease Circle, Kidney Failure Drive or Depression Lane.

I learned about The 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse and decided that this would be my last attempt at weight loss. I was mentally prepared to lose this excess weight and made a promise to myself that I would try this method over the next year....heck I had tried everything else...even settling to carrying all this excess weight for years. I finally was TRUE to myself!! My first GSC cleanse was flawless, I lost 18 pounds in 10 days! I was so overwhelmed with emotions, I stood crying in my bathroom, because I never experienced weight loss results like these in years. I was on a physical high! From that moment on, I decided to finally take care of ME!!! Well, nine months of healthy living, I am proud to report that I have lost 84 pounds.
